I've been trying forever to get a snap of one of these guys.
This is a yellow-bellied woodpecker. We get a lot of them at our feeder, but they are real chickens! Any time I make a move - no matter how slowly - to snap a pic, they're off like a rocket. The shots are a bit blurry thanks to wavy glass, but I don't care: I finally, finally got one on film...er, memory card.
