It may seem strange to include a store in which I can no longer shop as a reason to be happy, but I have to admit that there's something about J. Crew that warms the cockles of my heart.
Any time I'm in Soho I stop in for a looksee, even though their merchandise doesn't change all that often. And I'm only slightly miffed at their decision to position themselves as a luxury brand, mainly because I like just about everything the make. A large portion of my wardrobe consists of J. Crew items, which have a timelessness that I'm super grateful for since I really can't shop for new clothes anymore and don't see a lot of shopping in my immediate (or distant) future. Well, not at the newly upscale J. Crew, anyway.
